The Guild

A kingdom where the people choose which coins are born. Every week the realm votes, the crown forges the winner and crowns it in a fair launch, and its tithes return to the treasury.

The Council of the Realm

Each petition hangs from the beam with its own coat of arms. The more of the realm that backs it, the longer its banner falls. One wallet, one weighted voice. The first council opens after $GUILD is crowned; the banners below show how a council will look.

The first council

Opens after launch

Each week the realm votes for one week. The winning petition is taken to the forge, its arms, site and heralds are made in the open, and the hour of its coronation is fixed.

Soon

When the council opens, press Aye beside a petition and sign the message thy wallet shows thee. Nothing is sent and nothing is spent. Thy weight is thy $GUILD at the snapshot.

II · Petition the Crown

Bring thine idea
before the realm

Petitions open after launch; draw up thy decree now. Any holder may petition once each week. If the realm chooses thy petition, the crown forges and crowns it, and a tenth of its tithes are thine for life, paid on-chain to the wallet that petitioned.

III · The Royal Charter

Same gate for every soul

Every coronation answers to the same articles, and the crown's own wallets are named before each one so any subject may check them.

The Charter of Fair Coronation

binding upon every coin the Guild shall crown
I.A public hour. The hour of coronation is fixed when the council closes and cried in every square.
II.No presale, no favours. No subject holds the coin before its curve is opened.
III.One open purchase by the crown, its size proclaimed beforehand.
IV.No bundled wallets at the crowning. The crown's wallets are named here first.
V.Tithes flow on-chain: a tenth to the petitioner, six tenths to the treasury, three tenths to the forge.
VI.All is recorded: the council, the forging, the coronation and every tithe paid.

V · The Crowned

Coins the realm has crowned

Every coin the realm crowns will hang here for good, with who petitioned it, how many subjects it gathered and what its tithes returned. The hall awaits its first coin.

VI · The Peerage

Rise through the realm

Titles are earned by deeds, not only by coin held: voices cast, petitions brought, petitions crowned. Higher peers may petition more often and sit nearer the forge.
